Tyler Boatwright

I received my training as a Surgical Technologist while serving in the United States Navy. I served for 7 years working at two medical facilities as lead tech and manager for the Sterile Processing Department. After separating I continued working as a Tech in California at a Level 1 Trauma Facility. I started to miss traveling which is something I enjoy and switched over to Travel Contracts. With over 9 years of experience in multiple services, I can confidently scrub without supervision and also enjoy teaching new scrubs coming into the field. Outside of the Operating Room, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and finding new hobbies to challenge myself.

7 Years experience as a Surgical Technologist as a lead Tech for General/Plastics. Second Lead for OB/GYN. 3 years staff at University of California scrubbing over 7 different specialties. 16 months as a travel Surgical Tech over 3 facilities

I received training through the Navy at Ft. Sam Houston as a Hospital Corpsman with specialty training as a Surgical Technologist. After completing the curriculum to qualify as a Tech, I passed the National exam and qualified to scrub in multiple states
