Driven and versatile, I'm a multi-disciplinary engineer with experience in product design and development. As a mechanical engineer, I worked in mechanical design, prototyping, and manufacturing. Industries I've worked in: consulting, consumer electronics, medical devices, and solar.
In May 2021, I worked as a Software Engineer at Qualtrics in Salt Lake City, Utah. My role involved being the primary engineer and project lead for 7 React feature launches on the Workflows team. I focused on enhancing surveys with automated workflows, providing users with greater customization options and improved visibility into execution details.
This included features such as expanded scheduling options, exporting execution data, user-defined failure responses, and creating various widgets like action bars, real-time status indicators, forms with form validation, and more. All launched features were implemented with internationalization (i18n) localization, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) accessibility, and comprehensive unit test coverage. I also took on responsibilities such as maintaining both current and legacy codebases, resolving production bugs, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring weekly releases.
Additionally, I actively contributed to the company's internal Employee Resource Groups, organizing events and supporting initiatives, particularly during Asian-American and Pacific Islander heritage month.
