I have been a critical care nurse for the past 25 years. I have been working in The Texas Medical Center throughout my employment. My specialty is in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. I would prefer day shift and in the Sugar Land area. My past Annual Reviews have been Exceeds Expectations. I am an excellent nurse and i work well with others.
I work in the Medical ICU. I am able to take care of critical patients: ventilators, tracheostomies, multiple vasoactive drips, CVVHD, pulmonary artery catheters, transfusions, bedside procedures ( bronchoscopy, central line placement, proning for ventilation), transporting critical patients, advanced wound care( wound vac and packing), experience with life gift and palliative care, and excellent organization and prioritization. I have been a charge nurse at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in an 18 bed MICU for the past 21 years.
I receive a BS degree in Biology from SFASU in 1985, my BSN and RN from UTHSC in 1992. I have remained current on my ACLS/BLS during this time. I have attended all the required updates and yearly classes required by the hospital.
