I am a senior biology major, chemistry minor studying for my medical college admissions test (MCAT) this summer, in hopes of apply to medical school the following Spring. I am interested in the field of Breast Surgery Oncology and hope to gain more exposure within the surgical sciences prior to attending medical school. I am currently a senior lead peer tutor at USF, as well as president of the Pre-Health Peer Mentoring Program.
I hope to find an internship that I will be able to engage with following my graduation this May.
I currently have experience working as a Simulation Technician at the School of Nursing and Health Professions at USF, as well as leading the Learning Writing Center as a senior peer tutor. I have been working as a volunteer scribe at Clinic by the Bay for 9 months and have gained several clinical hours and experience in the past year engaging with several patients daily. Last, I have served as a cardiovascular research intern for Dr.
Lee at UCSF over the past year, creating an abstract to address predictors of death in patient populations post transvenous rotational lead extraction.
I will be finishing my B.S. in Biology and minor in Chemistry this Spring at the University of San Francisco.
