About

Inventor-engineer with 15 years across industrial automation, electrochemical water treatment, and entrepreneurship. Holder of 13 Russian IP assets (invention patents, utility models, registered software) covering industrial, mine, and drinking-water purification, plus lithium and potassium extraction from brine — hands-on chemistry and hardware experience directly relevant to closed-loop water reclamation and resource recovery. Founded and ran a full-cycle R&D company for a decade, scaling revenue more than 10× from its early years while personally building control systems, video analytics, and custom electronics from scratch.

Currently a lead project engineer at a Russian federal research center, taking a water-treatment R&D program from lab result to filed patent. Comfortable owning a problem end-to-end — chemistry, electronics, controls, and the business case to ship it. Open to hands-on engineering / R&D roles in water reclamation, life-support systems, industrial automation, or rapid hardware prototyping — especially where chemistry, controls, and fast iteration intersect.

Experience

Lead Project Engineer (previously Chief Project Engineer, "KUB" project) - Perm Scientific & Educational Center of World-Class "Rational Subsoil Use" (Perm NOC) - Perm, Russia

(2024-02)

Russian federal research center. Recruited to Perm to build out the center's water-treatment technology program.

  • Full engineering ownership of R&D projects, from problem definition to deployed technical solutions.
  • Moving to a mid-level management role freed up time for hands-on research: filed 12 patents covering electrochemical water treatment and lithium/potassium extraction from brine — the payoff of research started years earlier.
  • Promoted to Chief Project Engineer in March 2025; title updated to Lead Engineer in January 2026 following the center's reorganization and renaming.

Founder & CEO - BNTR — Glavnaya Ideya LLC - Tyumen, Russia

(2015-07 - 2025-04)

Founded and ran a full-cycle R&D company for a decade: R&D, design, manufacturing, and field deployment of electrochemical water-treatment systems, video-analytics platforms, traffic-control (ITS) systems, industrial automation, and custom electronics on contract. Wound down after founder's relocation.

  • Scaled revenue more than 10× from the company's early years (2014–2015): achieved a multi-fold increase by 2018, then nearly a 9× rebound and continued growth through 2020–2022.
  • Won 11 of 29 competitive tenders with government and corporate clients.
  • Laid the multi-year research foundation for the patent portfolio later filed at Perm NOC; personally patented one invention in this period — a pedestrian-crossing safety system (RU 2759475).
  • In 2020, founded and personally ran "BIKE SERVICE," an e-mobility repair shop in Tyumen, built from zero; sold it in 2023 when relocating to Perm (still operating today as "ElectroKhod").

Engineer (part-time) - Tyumen Industrial University — Digital Mobility Lab - Tyumen, Russia

(2020-05 - 2020-12)

  • Contributed to lab research on digital solutions for urban mobility — building on an earlier neural-network-based traffic control system I had developed.

Teaching Assistant, Dept. of Cybernetic Systems - Tyumen State Oil & Gas University - Tyumen, Russia

(2013-10 - 2014-06)

  • Teaching and research-methodology work; concurrently pursued PhD coursework in "Systems Analysis, Control, and Information Processing" (2012–2014).

Research Technician → Junior Researcher - TyumenNIIgiprogaz, Water Treatment Dept. — Electrocoagulation Control Systems Lab - Tyumen, Russia

(2011-06 - 2013-09)

Electrochemical water-treatment specialization began here — the foundation for the later patent portfolio.

  • Built automated control systems for industrial electrocoagulation water treatment.

Early Career - Vision Correction Center LLC - Russia

(2009-01 - 2009-12)

First professional experience in medical technology and IP management — echoes of which show up in early biomedical-device publications and in a systematic approach to patenting.

Early Career - Perm IP Management Center LLC - Perm, Russia

(2012-01 - 2012-12)

First professional experience in medical technology and IP management — echoes of which show up in early biomedical-device publications and in a systematic approach to patenting.

Education

Master's Degree - Transport Process Technology - Tyumen Industrial University (2014-09 - 2016-06)

Specialist Engineer Degree - Biotechnical and Medical Apparatus & Systems - Tyumen State Oil & Gas University (2007-09 - 2012-06)

PhD Coursework Completed (dissertation not defended) - Systems Analysis, Control & Information Processing - Tyumen State Oil & Gas University (2012-09 - 2014-06)
