I discovered Python in 1995, while working as a Network Engineer at an ISP. I first used it to build a custom web-based ISP billing and provisioning system. I also used it for several other side projects. The ISP was sold in 2000 and I decided to change my career to full-time software development in 2001.
I have been building systems with Python ever since. Along the way I gained experience with web technologies such as Django and Django Rest Framework. I have solved problems in many industries and enjoy providing solutions that help make people more productive.
As AI has become much more capable, I have integrated it into my development process. I am excited about the AI tools available that make me more productive. I am also excited to leverage AI in the systems I build.
