Whitley Wood

I’m a very humble, reliable, hardworking, dedicate, fast learner and determined person. I do my job role well, as I learn my job duties I take accountability for my job responsibilities and I perform then as needed of me. I’m a people person, so I love to work amongst a team.

I show respect at all times and I tend to be kind of a counselor amongst my working peers and team members! If you appear as if your day is not going good, I’m the person who speaks kind words because it can help someone day get a little better. Overall I’m a great and hard worker.

I take pride and joy in my work to do my best to make the customers HAPPY!

I worked for Mercedes Benz in Vance, AL. I worked on the trim side of the plant, trim 6 to be exact. I worked for three years off and on. I first joined MBUSI as a temp in 2019-2021. I worked there for a year and a half and unfortunately I had to undergo two surgeries, one on each hand due to pre-existing carpal tunnel syndrome.

I went back to work a few days after surgery and I was on light duty for about 6 weeks. As I went back to the line working my usual schedule and duties, I worked about a week or so and I was due for my second hand Unfortunately when it came to past I was laid off due to me being a temp. I went back to MBUSI in March 2022 and I was there until Febuary of this year (2023).
