Provide project planning, mechanical design, prototype fabrication and limited part supply with production tooling. Efforts required strict compliance to budget constraints, schedule and quality. Design issues ranged from conceiving unique molded parts, machined part design and part engineering validation using Solid Works FEA to automation assembly machines.
Engineering prototypes and fixtures, validation devices required for all medical product development projects to determine viability of the design solutions and comply with FDA GMPs.
Prototyping is routinely employed for cosmetic acceptance of preliminary design yields to better determine clients’ customer input and marketing’s evaluation.
