Hi, my name is WooJae Byun.
I come from S.Korea but I am cunrrently residing in Chicago, IL.
Working as a freelance illustrator has been my job for the past 15 years. During the time period I have worked for numbers of corporates(such as LG, Samsung, Kiehl etc), publishers and government branches(Korean).
I recently moved to Chicago and am looking to continue the career with new clients.
My strength is that I have covered various styles in the past so whatever the style is needed, I can deliver. And fast.

My biggest strength is that I have served many different clients from publishers to global companies. Some of them includes Samsung, Posco, LG, Kiehl, and Korean govt departments etc.
The projects I had chances to work on are children’s books, book covers, book illustration, posters, ads, animation, character design etc.
I have majored in Korean ink painting in the university and illustration animation in the postgraduate course in the UK. I also taught in art university for 4 semesters and highschool kids for 6 years.
