I am a Toy Designer with deep passion for concept sketching, early-stage ideation, and playful brainstorming. I love turning rough ideas into clear, character-driven concepts and transforming quick sketches into fully developed, manufacturable products.
I’ve worked full-time and freelance with leading companies including Fisher-Price / Mattel, Jakks Pacific, Kids2, Disney, and several international toy and baby gear brands. My background spans preschool concepts, baby gear design, plush toys, wooden toys, and character-driven products.
With hands-on experience collaborating with manufacturing partners in China, I bridge creative design with real-world production needs to deliver fun, safe, and cost-effective products.
I studied Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, where the program emphasized blue-sky thinking, abstract exploration, and pushing creative boundaries through fast sketching. Instead of relying heavily on digital tools, Pratt trained me to develop strong imagination, visual storytelling, and fine-art-driven concept development.
I’m grateful for this foundation—it taught me how to think freely, explore ideas fearlessly, and enjoy the creative process. Software skills can always be learned later, but the ability to brainstorm, ideate, and sketch with true creative freedom has been priceless in my work as a Toy Designer.
