About
Dear Hiring Manager,
My name is Hao Yin, and I am applying for the open position of Data Analyst. I would appreciate it if you would consider my candidacy for the job, and I’ve attached my resume for your reference.
I have spent six years studying Stat and Math and two years practicing number crunching and database management during college. I am keen to continue developing my career in data analysis and biostatics. I have always been a numbers person with exceptional mathematics and computer skills.
I am fluent in data management systems and software, including R studio, MySQL, Python, and MS Excel. Statistical significance, A/B testing, and data-driven optimization are the rhythm of the drumbeat I march to. I also have an internship during the graduate study in a bio-company as a data scientist position.
I use the data of some detected biomarkers to predict the results of a person who may have Alzheimer. I finally find the most suitable data and apply them to get the best machine learning model with a high accuracy.
Additionally, I am detail-oriented, organized, and precise in my work. I have strong communication skills with a knack for clear and illuminating presentations. I’m comfortable facing the numbers independently, but I enjoy being part of a motivated team of intelligent people.
I am available to expand upon any further information you require and would be happy to come for an interview. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Yin, Hao
