I am a data scientist that has worked in several different industries such as the energy and space industry, I collaborate with others in both industry and academic settings. I have a life long passion of interpreting data and the hidden meaning behind them.
I worked in the field of data science for almost 7 years. I interned at Total Energies, Ltd. Co for a summer and worked on using machine learning scripts to improve the efficiency of shale gas extractions.
Then I worked in the space industry to build two spectrographs for NASA, where I was responsible for end-to-end data reduction pipeline development. During my work with complex astronomical data from satellites, I developed the statistical and machine learning skills useful for any kind of applications. I wish to utilize those skills to benefit a real-world company and make the world a better place.
I also worked in the service industry as a driver for Uber for several months, where I enjoyed many conversation exchanges with my friendly passengers. During my Uber experience as both a passenger and a driver, I saw first-hand the potential of Uber's apps and products in helping drivers and connect people from locations to locations.
In high school, I studied the Advanced GCSE/Alevel courses in a broad range of subjects, where I fell in love with math and physics. So I decided to pursue a triple degree in mathematics, physics, and astrophysics from the Pennsylvania State University. After several research experience at Penn State, I decided to go to graduate school in Physics.
Now I see myself doing more real-world applications and building real engineering products that can help make people's life better and make the world a better place.
