My name is Ziv Weissman and I’m a current student at UC Santa Barbara studying Computer Science in the College of Creative Studies honors program. I’m particularly interested in computer networks and the internet and hope to learn more about security in the coming year. Next quarter I’ll be taking on upper division computer science classes: Computer Architecture, Introduction to Computer Communication Networks, and Data Structures and Algorithms.
My strongest programming languages are C++, Javascript, and Python. So far, most of the projects I’ve worked on have been web based such as my Bitcoin clone based in Node.js and React, a text-based social media for sharing poetry, and my personal portfolio site. Beyond web development, I’m strong in game development with Unreal Engine 4, and have won the first place prize at CHI 2021’s student game competition by creating accessible video games, and am currently working on a MIPS emulator in C++ as a project for my honors Computer Organization and Digital Logic Design class.
Award-winning research in creating experimental video games and personal projects in full-stack web development.
