NPI Supervisor/Project Lead at TECHTRONIC INDUSTRIES VIETNAM (2019-10 – Present)
Key responsibilities are ensuring project movement/NPD projects running smoothly (Outdoor Products) – Gas Products include Blower, Trimmer, Chainsaw
- Manage team 4 engineers
- Project follow up from start to mass production
- Review NPQ/PEAC and all product documents for Engineering Build (EB) and Pilot Production (PP)
- Use ERP to make EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials), transfer EBOM to MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials), Complete TD (Temporary Deviation), ECO (Engineering Change Oder) to meet the project responsibilities
- Use TC/AWC to submit manage ECR/ECN for engineering change
- Follow up all testing arrangement, testing result review, analysis and solution given
- Coordinate with others department: ME (Mechanical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineering), Production, QA (Quality Assurance), PMC (Production Material Control) for EB and PP happen smoothly
- Completed Engineering documents required for product development (New Product Qualification) then send to Quality for submit NPPR (New Product Qualification Releases)
- Weekly meeting with US team and China/Hong Kong team for update project status, any issue or solution given
- Address problems with Suppliers and Production Lines
- Participate in Value Engineering activities
- Audit New Vendor with SQE/SOU team
- Review PPAP and process SER approval
Mechanical Project Engineer (Design) at TAT MACHINERY CORPORATION (2016 – 2019)
- Design 4 roll bending machines, press machine, and choose technical specifications for the machine
- Mechanical calculations and design: calculation & design all parts of machine (mechanical system, hydraulic system, control system)
- Created 2D/3D drawings for the machines (use Inventor)
- Documenting designs (bills of materials, technical specifications, design guidelines)
- Write the report for the final meeting
- Responsible for the completion of all documentation of this project
- Received the technical requirements from customer (Structural steel, silos, hoppers drawings), make Bill of Materials
- Make the quotation for the projects send to PM for review
- Monitor the materials submission and procurement status (stainless steel, steel, and other materials)
- Make shop drawings and all detail drawings for fabrication team in factory
- Working alongside the installation team at customer factories for equipment setup
