In my current role as as a Principle Consultant and Head of the Molecular Imaging Unit at the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital (DGMAH), a 1000-bed tertiary/academic institution situated in Pretoria, South Africa. I played a pivotal role in the establishment of an inaugural PET/CT facility at DGMAH. I continue to be responsible for the operational management and clinical governance of the unit and recently expanded the clinical diagnostic repertoire through the provision of a 68Gallium PET/CT service.
In addition, I hold a joint appointment at the Department of Nuclear Medicine, SMU Health Sciences University.
