Non destructive testing and assessment of equipment, according to government regulations, that are intended for Explosive Atmospheres. Document control and QA/QC.
Liaison with clients about test work required as per government regulations. Generating quotes and following up on purchase orders, receiving / dispatch client test samples. Opening project files and inserting relevant documentation. Testing and assessment of equipment according to government regulations, recording test results on work instructions / lab notes. Capturing and assessing the test results, using the conclusions to compile, write and issue test reports and IA certificates. Review project files incl. test results, grammar, spacing, format and info on report and certificate. Communicating the test result with the client and discussing retesting if necessary. Answering telephones and attending to the receive / dispatch reception. Compiling of work instructions / lab notes for the specific required tests to comply with government regulations, making variations to correspond with various regulating standards, types of equipment and clients. Assessment included, but not limited to inspecting the equipment to confirm that the protection method has been applied correctly and that the correct products were used, assuring the quality of the protection.
