• Proof of concept MI400 ASIC Bring-Up: Designed and built a custom 3D-printed host support structure with support studs to increase the clearance between the GPU PCB and base tray, preventing liquid-cooling host from damaging 0402 discrete components on the bottom side of the GPU PCB, improving mechanical reliability during GPU bring-up.
• MI300 Single-GPU Platform: Modified the chassis and motherboard mounting configuration to position the GPU in the PCIe slot closest to the CPU, optimizing PCIe link performance; integrated a flexible PCIe cable to connect a secondary low-end video card for display output.
