About

I am currently studying for a Diploma in Human Resource Management, and have 32 years' working experience in human resources as a Human Capital Administrator. I have had only one employer during this time, namely Unitrans, and the only reason I am leaving is because I have been retrenched, effective on 30 October 2026. My practical experience covers almost every area of HR, including staff recruitment and engagement of new employees; managing a payroll including compliance with all labour law and statutory requirements; managing the clocking system for work hours; maintenance of all employee records; managing employee benefits; compliance with health and safety policies; reporting and data analysis, and assisting with the preparation and updating of HR policies and procedures.

I consider myself to have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and being adaptable, detail oriented and dependable. During my time with my current employer, I have played a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR function and the delivery of high-quality HR services to employees. I am now looking for a new opportunity for permanent employment in a stable and growing company, where I can make an immediate and valuable contribution to the HR function.
