I completed high school in KZN in 2019 and my BSc in microbiology at the University of Pretoria. I absolutely love learning new things and would like to continue with my studies through UNISA in 2024. I am an enthusiastic, driven individual who will give my all to make sure to succeed in all the adventures I take on.
I work well in a team as well as on my own. I love challenges that get me thinking in new ways to find solutions to novel problems. I am quite resourceful, I can think on my feet, and am good with time management and reaching deadlines as I did part-time tutoring during my studies.
Tutoring: create a lesson plan curated for each individual student and help the students in specific areas where they feel they need it. I have experience in tutoring subjects in the CAPS, IEB, and British curricula.
Lab work: Completed several practicals as part of the coursework, also shadowed post-graduate students during the second semester of my final year at university.
Microbiology: bacterial genetics, gene manipulation, Microbe interactions, virology
Biochemistry: molecular basis of disease, biocatalysis and metabolism, cell structure and function, bioinformatics.
