I went to St John's college, Johannesburg. After I matriculated, I took a gap year in which I went to Zambia and worked at a school called Trident College. I helped coach the rowers, and taught a few students the trumpet, which is my main instrument.
I love playing music, and got my trinity grade 8 practical last year. I am a hard working individual, that enjoys being challenged. I am committed, dedicated and pretty easy-going. I am pretty keen to do anything, but would love to use my skills as a teacher and coach to my advantage
I worked at a school in Zambia for 6 months of my gap year. I was involved in all of the departments, subbing in for teachers when they could not be in class. My main rolls were the coach of the rowing team (around 16 children) and part-time music teacher. I taught trumpet to two students. I was also involved in the running of the Duke of Edenborough award
I went to St John's college, Johannesburg for 13 years. St John's is one of the top boys schools in the country. Our matric year got the overall best academic results out of all of the schools in South Africa. I played the trumpet in 4 bands, and rowed at a first team level. I managed to achieve 1 distinction, with a 74% average for matric
