• Lead investigator for incidents with root cause analysis and advise on corrective actions.
• Developing and Overseeing/ Leading:
• Emergency Planning Life Safety, Fire Safety (NFPA) and Hazardous Waste Management: Developing safety policies, procedures, and technical documents to support research laboratory safety program according to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, design, building, electrical, NFPA fire code and local requirements.
• Implementation of safety programs, site inspection, initiation of corrective action.
• Safety inspection and audit programs.
• Revision and establishment of fire and life safety (NFPA), including management of fire warden training, maps, drills. emergency response plans.
• Environmental safety includes hazardous materials handling and disposal, waste disposal, exhaust systems, disposal of hazardous materials and other relevant issues.
• Evaluating and monitoring contractor’s health, safety, and environment practices (HSE plan, Risk assessment, PTW).
• COVID-19 management (risk management for planned events for COVID and HSE related risks, implementation of preventative and mitigation controls, training ‘return to work”).
