Job Title - Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible and accountable for 230 employees on the project with 3 managers and 1 Senior Safety.

· Planning and time management – ensure that projects are completed within set timeframes.

· Resource management – ensuring that equipment and materials are available throughout the project.

· Financial and budget management – making sure that the project is completed within a financial budget.

· Communication – arranging meetings and ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the project’s progress.

· Delegation and Motivation – responsible for ensuring that tasks are delegated effectively, and employees remain motivated to complete the project to a high standard.

· General construction – this includes but not limited to:

• Preparing regular progress reports for the project
• Making daily tasks lists and delegating responsibilities
• Arranging and leading on regular team meetings
• Undertaking site checks to monitor progress
• Dealing with matters arising from internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring budget reports

· Reporting directly to the below client’s senior management:

· Activities performed:

• All lifting and rigging activities at heights
• Monthly and quarterly rigging gear inspections, removal and replacements when damage equipment is identified by the team of Lifting tackle inspectors.
• Assisting in load testing of overhead cranes, winches, Chan blocks, lifting beams.
• General bolting at heights
• Painting of boiler structures at heights
• Boiler house cladding sheeting
• NDT testing of welding inside Coal silos and fuel oil tanks.
