Known for taking over stalled or underperforming programmes, identifying root causes at system and infrastructure level, restructuring delivery approaches, and returning projects to stable execution without unnecessary cost escalation. Combines strong operational leadership with hands-on technical intervention where required, primarily to protect delivery outcomes and uplift team capability.
Serves as CCTV Technical Lead for the first Smart Police solution implemented in Africa, delivered in partnership with eThekwini Municipality, Metro Police, Huawei, and Mtechnologies.

Regional Engineer – KwaZulu-Natal
January 2021 – March 2023
Served as regional technical authority for CCTV, access control, VMS, alarm, and intercom systems across KwaZulu-Natal. Delivered advanced technical training, supported complex enterprise and government deployments, and provided system design validation and escalation support for integrators and key clients.
(Period prior to Regional Engineer role)
Provided technical support for surveillance and security systems, including configuration assistance, fault diagnosis, and system optimisation. Supported partners and installers with troubleshooting, commissioning guidance, and product-level technical queries, forming the foundation for later regional engineering responsibilities.
Workshop Manager – Rotax & Industrial Electronics
Managed workshop operations focused on Rotax systems and industrial electronics engineering. Responsible for diagnostics, repairs, component-level fault finding, and coordination of technical work. Built strong foundations in electronic systems, signal flow, and practical engineering problem-solving.
Oversaw ICT support operations, network deployments, and corporate SLA delivery. Managed technical teams responsible for infrastructure support, server environments, networking, and client-facing service delivery. Accountable for operational uptime, escalation management, and adherence to contractual service levels.
Supervised operational teams within a technical services environment. Responsible for task allocation, quality control, and ensuring work was completed safely and to specification. Developed early leadership and people-management experience.
Worked as an audio-visual technician supporting installations and maintenance of AV systems. Gained hands-on experience with structured cabling, device installation, signal routing, and on-site technical coordination.
Entry-level role supporting CCTV and AV installations. Assisted with cabling, device mounting, basic configuration, and site preparation. This role marked the start of a practical, hands-on technical career.
