As the lead consultant, I identify, assess, and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities that could impact an organization's assets, operations, or personnel. My role includes providing guidance on enhancing security measures, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Additionally, I serve as a Security Project Manager (SPM) for clients during the implementation stage of projects.
This involves planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure that security measures are properly implemented, risks are addressed, and compliance standards are met. My responsibilities also include coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring that security solutions align with business objectives.
With more than 26 years in the security industry I am currently the lead consultant of a consulting company which specializes in security risk and vulnerability assessments and occupational health and safety. I have held a technical directorship position during my 6 years in the Middle East.
Throughout my career, I have been instrumental in the completion of numerous security related projects, locally and internationally. I have commended and gained a reputation for quick and accurate assessments of situations, using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
During my time in the Middle East I helped establish Securiton Middle East. I established representative offices in North Africa – Libya, Central Africa – Nairobi and Southern Africa – Johannesburg and also established technical support structures in line with Securiton AG policies and procedures.
