I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe, and I am currently pursuing an MCom in Economics. My coursework covers a wide range of topics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and health economics. These courses have provided me with a solid foundation in economic theories and quantitative analysis.
Throughout my career, I have developed strong numeracy and analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, Python, and SQL. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, and am also skilled in data analysis and statistical packages such as R, SPSS, NVIVO, and E-Views.
I bring 8 years of admin and research/data analysis experience in my roles as a Research Intern, Research Assistant and Economics Data Collector and Commercial Clerk. I have worked with large datasets and have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring data quality through ongoing checks – from data collection stages to data analysis. I have gained valuable expertise in designing data collection tools, data collection, data entry and cleaning, and data analysis.
Collaborating with health economists, social scientists, and research assistants, I successfully contributed to economic analysis of various clinical research trials/projects and publications. As a Commercial Assistant at Likusasa Zimbabwe, I used Excel and other Microsoft Suite packages to create purchase orders, client invoices and registers.
