I am a Somatologist with a great passion for our industry. I truly believe that this is one of the most impactful and life-changing industries, and to be a part of it is an honor. I strive to make every client I encounter feel beautiful, confident & the best version of themselves.

I have also grown to become more passionate about helping clients understand their skin's better & how to care for it best! I aim to approach life holistically and believe that balance is everything. For this reason, I strive to live a healthy lifestyle.

I have a love for skincare, and for gaining & sharing knowledge on products and giving people advice. I am known to be a very empathetic and approachable person with an inviting nature. I am a people's person through and through!

I take pride in how I present myself, and love to embrace my femininity. I enjoy interacting with people in a kind & patient manner. I strive to always stay teachable and constantly learn from those around me, and to approach what life has to offer with passion and joy.

Online Skin Therapist at Dermastore (2024-11 – Present)

I am currently employed as an online Skin Therapist at Dermastore, where I get to recommend skincare products and give advice, via live online chats or video calls, to clients according to their concerns, needs, and budget. I am also experienced in retail & admin (logging/packing orders, handling payments, stock take, reception duties, etc.). We are constantly trained on various popular skincare brands and products, as seen on the Dermastore website.

Our in-house dermatologist regularly trains & updates us on skin conditions. I have also recently started to partake in making social media content.

Acting Operations Manager at Dermastore

I was also given the opportunity to step into the role of Acting Operations Manager for a brief period, where I gained valuable experience in leadership, team coordination, communication, organisation, and problem-solving - while gaining extensive insight into the operational side of the industry.

Practical Experience at Isa Carstens Wellness Sanctuary (2022 – 2024)

I have practical experience in body- and skin treatments, retailing and reception work from working in the Isa Carstens Wellness Sanctuary, as well as many practical client days that took place throughout my 3 years of studying (2022-2024).
