Dalson Masipa

I am passionate about joining the mining industry. I am qualified Education Specialist with Bachelor of Arts, BTECH in HRD, Diploma in Public Management. For a career change towards mining i studied Introduction to Samtrac with Nosa and because of financial difficulties could not do Samtrac mining and all courses relevant.

I have 19 years in Public Sector and 5 in Private sector. If given the opportunity i will do my best to achieve my goals of joining the mining industry. Currently unemployed and request assistant to achieve my goal of joining the mining industry.

19 Years in Public service, 5 years in Private sector, of which the last 4 years 3 months, working for Kagiso Shanduka Trust as Project Manager for the Anglo American intervention programme in partnership with Mpumalanga department of education in Witbank- Emalahleni municipality. The project fast tract my passion of joining the mining industry as i worked very well with Greenside, Khwezela, Zibulo collieries under Thungela Resources.

Skill acquired: Stakeholder engagement, communication, problem solving, report writing, budget monitoring, management skills, attention to details, management of 10 service providers, and community engagements.

Acquired a Certificate in Introduction to Samtrac. Want to further do Samtrac Mining and other relevant courses like Mine Safety. Subjects passed: HSE Management System and Legislation, Foundation of HSE, Documentation and Incident Management, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment. I could not further my studies due to financial constrains. An opportunity at the mine will assist me to achieve my goals of further studies.
