Internship - Bayworld Centre for Research and Education (5 months, 2016)
• Configuration and deployment of oceanographic equipment including ADCPs (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler), CTDs (Conductivity, Temperature and Density profiler), acoustic releases and data loggers.
- Setup of mooring systems for deployment on the South Atlantic MOCBasin- wide Array (SAMBA) line. • Used MATlab and CS loggernet code for set up and testing of equipment.
Internship – Lwandle Technologies (7 months, 2017)
• Project administration
- Preparation, mobilisation and setup of equipment and software test procedures including temperature probes, Acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP’s), Conductivity, Temperature, Depth profiler’s (CTD’s), pH, chlorophyll and Oxygen sensors.
- Basic admin including liaising with clients, ordering equipment and associated paperwork
- Attendance of Oceanographic Field Research Workshop which covered detailed teaching on oceanographic equipment, configuring, coding and deployment of ADCP’s, CTD’s and Aquadopps.
- Used Octave software (a variation of MatLab and Putty)
Internship – Ford Moto Company of South Africa(4 months, 2023)
• User and Desktop Support

- gained experience and was assisted in the use of SCCM(Standard System Centre Manager) and the Microsoft Intune suite
- I spent most of my time there with the User and desktop support and the Plant support team. User and Desktop Support entailed providing local support for installing, upgrading and troubleshooting user and desktop items using tools provided by the Microsoft Intune suite which Ford makes use as a cloud-based management solution. Plant support entailed supporting desktop items used as user interface devices for plant industrial equipment. this involved installing plant specific applications, maintaining these items and troubleshooting any issues that arises. basic server maintenance was also done but nothing too technical.
