Demi Munsamy

I am goal oriented in striving for precise and definitive results, in the process of communicating with a team to ensure unprecedented work is guaranteed and an affable environment is created. My excellent academic results will purely depict my determination and passion for the study field I am in. I graduated Cumlaude and with the Deans Merit award in both qualifications – National diploma in environmental health and then my Honors in Environmental Health where I majored in occupational health and safety and Epidemiology.

I am have recently completed my Masters of Health Science particularly in Occupational Hygiene. As much as I enjoy the field of academics, my passion solely lies in SHE.

I have extensive knowledge and practical experience in Safety, environmental and risk audits; task based and baseline risk assessments, manufacturing and process safety. Furthermore, I have had great success in building a safety system from scratch. I have worked at international and national companies such as Tigerbrands, Boxer Superstores, Reckitt and Sovereign Foods.

During these years I have established and operationalized an OHSAS 18001 system from scratch. I have been experienced to both established and unestablished corporate environments, both with their own challenges which make me an ideal and holistic candidate for the position. I have some experience in supervising and managing staff below me such as hygiene staff, cleaners and interns.

I have experience both in the private and public sector.
