About

I have been employed in the insurance industry since 2004. I started out in sales and thereafter ventured into customer service and later into the role of an experienced personal lines underwriter.

Experience

Whilst in the employ of CIB I managed the portfolio of Absa Brokers and was responsible for seeing to the insurance needs of all their private bank clients. Arranging surveys and VAR’s and ensuring the best possible cover for clients. Other duties included, but not limited to corrective action measures implemented after claims, discussing and renewals and implementing terms and conditions where applicable. I also gained extensive customer service knowledge whilst working for SBIB as the core focus of the business was to ensure best customer service practices were implemented and improved upon a daily basis.

My appetite to learn and grow later led me to Bryte Insurance where I was employed in the Sales and Distribution Department. Here my core function was to lend support to our Sales Teams which included all Regional managers, BDM’s, Underwriting and Quoting teams. I was also responsible for customizing and preparation of relevant management reports on a periodic basis or as and when required as well as process all new broker onboarding applications
