Experience

Currently, I hold the position of Procurement Graduate at Rand Refinery. This role places a strong emphasis on honing outstanding communication skills through regular monthly presentations, as well as fostering meticulous attention to detail evident in the analytical reports I compile and present.

My role involves various responsibilities to ensure efficient procurement operations:

I manage the end-to-end procurement process, including creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders using SAP.
Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and expediting when necessary to maintain optimal timelines.
Resolving queries in collaboration with the finance department to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Contributing to cycle stock counts to enhance inventory accuracy and availability.
Providing monthly procurement analytics reports for informed decision-making.
Handling administrative tasks such as updating vendor management systems, preparing RFQs, and tender documents.
Negotiating prices to achieve cost savings while upholding quality standards.
Identifying and sourcing suppliers aligned with procurement strategic goals.
Managing procurement of both stock and non-stock items.
Ensuring consistent adherence to SOPs to promote compliance and efficiency.
