Hammanskraal Emergency Intervention – Work Package 2 (Klipdrift), providing construction supervision and technical support for critical bulk water infrastructure works.

Responsibilities include monitoring construction activities, conducting site inspections, reviewing drawings and specifications, overseeing QA/QC compliance, managing NCRs and inspection requests, and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, laboratories, survey teams and project stakeholders.

Gained hands-on experience in HDPE and steel pipeline construction, valve and chamber structures, PRV and flow control valve chambers, concrete works, reinforcement, shuttering, waterbars, earthworks, backfilling, compaction testing and pump station infrastructure.

• Support multidisciplinary design teams with concept and detailed designs, engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports in line with applicable design codes and standards.
• Assist with contract administration, including verification of contractor payment certificates, tender evaluation documentation, and compilation of as-built records.
• Ensure all documentation is produced, checked, and issued in compliance with the Naidu Consulting Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in site supervision and coordination, attending site handovers and meetings, and responding to technical queries from contractors.
