Experienced environmentalist with over 15yrs of experience ranging from consulting, construction, oil and gas and Mining industries. I do believe that sustainability through collaboration and accountable leadership is possible. Zero harm to employees and on environment is also achievable through identification of hazards, aspects and implementation of appropriate control. Incidents are costly and therefore proactive measures to sustainable development must be encouraged.

I am experienced in developing SHE strategies, Policy and Procedures writing. Good experience in implementing integrated SHEQ management systems in accordance with ISO90001, 14001 and 4500. My special expertise is on Air quality, Water, Waste, Hazardous substances management. identification of hazard, associated risks and implementations of appropriate and cost-effective measures.

I have also championed insitu soil and groundwater remediation on contaminated land and also implemented inhouse rehabilitation of waste rock dumps. The later was one of the successful cost saving initiatives that also improved the company standing on reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and improvement on energy saving.

I also have good experience and knowledge on South African SHE laws and application of these laws at workplace. I have assisted my current and previous employees with compliance monitoring, audits and environmental permitting process.

I have an honours degree in Earth Science
