I am a Bachelor of Business Science Graduate specializing in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town. I am interested in investment management, particularly equity as an asset class, and I believe that compound interest is indeed the 8th wonder of the world. I am an aspiring Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder. I am passionate about personal development and I feel most fulfilled when connecting with people.

Private Equity Internship: Ascension Capital Partners

• Presented a private equity deal to an investment committee, and this developed my research, financial analysis and modelling, valuation, and presentation skills. 

• I taught financial management and investment theory, monitor student progress, and assess knowledge and skills by running weekly tutorial sessions, invigilating test sittings, and marking submissions and test scripts. 

• I authored the Product Tactics chapter in the Marketing to South African.

I completed a Bachelor of Business Science specializing in Finance and Accounting. My major subjects included Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Applied Investments and Strategic Thinking. My biggest interest was learning about Equities, Valuations and Modern Portfolio Theory, which I learned under the major of Applied Investments. I intend to become an expert in the fund management industry.
