I started in stores for the platinum group as a sales assistance and in 6 months became the store manager and a year later the centre manger for the group in Gauteng. Moved to Cape Town to assist with store launches for Urban and team recruitment. I also worked at Truworths as a floor manager and managed a team of 20 people. Moved to Edcon and became an assistance buyer for 2 years and later in the year moved to brands due to my skillset.
Zando after that as a junior buyer for Mens, ladies and kids and stayed for 2 years. Then worked as and account manager for RVCA range, managing relationships and negotiating with both online and actual store stakeholders and done brand management for RVCA. Then got head hunted to Superbalist to take over the menswear branded portfolio and growth it to current level.
Matriculated and went on to study Hotel and Resort management but ran out of funds for the final year and had to start working as I was self funding my studies at the time.
