I’m a South African born creative, striving for balance, inspired by beauty, driven by passion.
I’ve travelled a decent portion of the world, worked for a fair number of agencies, owned my own for over a decade, became a mum, joined a global start-up, and here I am today.
Taking each step with tenacity, I’ve elevated my experience across all areas of my trade - from events and content production, PR and communications, marketing and advertising, brand building, strategy, creative and team management. Culminating a succinct, deep rooted understanding of brand positioning and perception through visual creative, voice and expression.
Being privy to have partnered with a plethora of global lifestyle and leading luxury hospitality brands, the pinnacle of each brand journey for me has been in bringing brand vision and persona to life; alluring, engaging and benchmarking key consumer conversion.
Over the past two years I have been under the employ of Elevate Brands, recently acquired by Seller X, forming one of the world's largest brand aggregators for Amazon and DTC marketplaces.
My role commenced as Brand Strategist, guiding Brand Managers, Marketing and Creative teams on go-to-market strategies, budget forecasts and creative execution across a portfolio bouquet of 12 brands. During this time I executed the rational, brand repositioning and product category expansion of four rising star brands specifically, resulting in vast and rapid conversion hikes, including the adoption of multi-million Dollar brick & mortar retail chain purchase orders throughout the US and Canada.
Within the first year I was promoted to Senior Global Creative Manager, overseeing the creative portfolios all 33 company brands. Day-to-day tasks include research into consumer insights, competitor analysis and trend forecasts. Managing in-house and agency design and copywriting teams on storefront creative, mailer campaigns, Amazon PDP optimizations, PPC ad campaigns, packaging design, new product development, brick & mortar retail product variations, packaging and catalogues, social media content plans, and brand books.
As well as all content production (photography and film).
Prior to my current vocation, I ran a BTL, TTL creative marketing and communications agency for over 12 years, in the role of Managing Director. Here we specialized in FMCG and high-end hospitality brands respectively, covering all areas of marketing from events and productions, through PR, social and digital channels.
I've completed a Business Management course through Action Coaching; An Interior Design and Decor course through BHC. An Events Management course and a double major scholarship in English Literature and Theatre Studies.
