Key Functions & Responsibilities:

• Managing the internal supply chain fundamentals ie. Materials planning, goods receiving, goods storage (materials at ambient, chilled, and frozen), goods issuing, inventory control.
• Maintaining Food Safety, Food Quality, and Health & Safety standards in Receiving
• Managing ordering and receipting of goods between intercompany facilities
• Performing monthly and ad hoc inventory counts and investigating variances.
• Check the signatures on Goods Issue documentation (SSR's) in terms of the authority manual
• Performing daily stock counts to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals
• Draw and issue stock from the stores as requested and process in accordance with delegations of authority and system requirements.
• Assisting in plant traceability or Mock recall excises
• Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular stock counts.
• Ensure all stock is stored safely and correctly.
• Capture stock movements and maintain accurate records on the computer system.
• Monitor stock shortages and report items requiring replenishment.
• Keep the storeroom clean, organised and compliant with company standards.

• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties in the production area.
• Ensure machine is running efficiently
• Perform pre-checks and mirror service on the machine encompass lubrication

• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the work area.
