Receptionist: switch board, welcoming guests, check guest in and out, filing, check emails daily, send confirmation, follow up on payments, issue keys, prepare bills & dealing with all payments, answer queries and deal with guest complaints, opera, daily data base, prepare bar cash up and settle all cash and room slips, prepare Registration cards for next day
Morning shift Duty Manager: issue staff duties, take hand over from night porter, check lights, bins, check garden, assist in bar, count cash boxes, prepare dinner money, set up welcome drinks for groups, handle any conferences and daily meetings, supervise public areas as well as staff in laundry, assist in dining room ETC
Late shift Duty Manager: Do handover from morning shift, check all garages are locked, check that all spot lights are working, check all maintenance are locked, check parking bays, check that cameras are working, check finance box, do x reading at bar, check duty manager cupboard, lock all keys, drop cash up, lock offices, run night audit, hand over to night porter ETC
