Provide full end to end HR Support with full IR Function and full bulk Recruitment Blue Collar Function. Providing
Recruitment, Administration, Payroll, Training and Termination support to over 30 different organisations in various job industries and bargaining councils.
- Reporting to board of directors on a monthly basis as at the end of January 2019 about succession planning and developments within department
- Implementing and updating policies and procedures as and when amendments take place
- Indicating Human Resources risks to the business
- Responsible for full IR Function within the organisation as well as for the full bulk Recruitment Blue Collar Function along with other HR related functions
- Manage dispute and grievance procedures
- Handle CCMA Matters
- Approval of all employee personnel files
- Maintenance of all hard copy and soft copy files
- Responsible for monthly auditing of files in order to ensure desired standard and compliance
- Bulk UIF and benefits administrator (Provident, funeral claims and death claims)
- Resolving employee pay queries
- Leave administration
- Daily hour capturing on the system for staff
- Submitting monthly timesheet batches to payroll for processing
- Monthly file audits
- Provide accurate efficient HR information for internal reporting (identification of problem areas, internal IR Database, Statistics, CCMA Matters, Deserted Employees Metrics)
- Report on the number of employees who have attended short training courses
- Assist in compiling of the Employment Equity Report
- Responsible for weekly and monthly induction programs
- Drive HR Service delivery, ensuring timely and effective resolution of employee queries, concerns and challenges
- Ensure that all data concerning employees and the operation is up to date and filed
- Organize special events for staff as requested by management
- Arranging wellness events
- Act as a trusted adviser and coach to provide guidance on HR Policies, procedures and best practice
- Develop, implement and maintain HR procedures and processes
- Manage and Coordinate the IR process for all employees

- Schedule pre-disciplinary hearing meetings in order to prepare the initiator as well as all witness and gather all evidence
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies that support business goals
- Commitment to delivering exceptional HR Service and enhancing the employee experience
- Work closely with line managers to identify future needs for the business
- Ensure that suppliers are being paid for services rendered
- Coach managers and employees on the use of performance management systems
- Monitor labour legislation developments and proactively identify appropriate strategies to ensure compliance and minimize business risk
- Provide support in the overall people strategy
- Implementing recommending changes on the business information system and ensuring that the changes are maintained
- Ensure that all statutory requirements are met and timeous submission of reports and / or inspections (coordinating and managing inspections from the DOL, Arranging Employment Equity Committee Meetings with consultant)
- Coordinating and managing the CEA / LBD Audit
- Submitting the Annual Placement Report to the DOL
- Assist with IOD Claim using ASSIST
- Confirmation of employment for workers
- Communication with accredited and reputable training providers for specific training courses when required
- Drafting correspondences to the different Union should they be recognised, Informing them of consultations and scheduling meetings accordingly
- Notify staff of increases
- Arrange engagement meetings for performance bonus assessment
