• Identify orphans and vulnerable children and inform orphan coordinators
• Follow-up on identified children through home visits to child headed / youth headed / granny headed / people living with HIV / AIDS Families
• Keep records of visits and issues that need to be followed up
• Submit monthly statistics on the number of home visits conducted and clients seen
• Assists in the distribution of food parcels
• Assists in the distribution of clothing, school uniforms, etc to beneficiaries
• Link children and families with the material resources, any help available in the organisation
• Assist families apply for state assistance, birth documents, social security grants
• Assist children apply to be exempted from school
• Attend school meeting in respect of children that do not have adult caregivers
• Be involved in arrangements of event for children e.g family funday, Christmas parties, school holiday programmes
