My name is Lance,
Just to briefly introduce myself, I have recently moved to Cape Town from New Zealand and am currently in search of positions in the transport, freight forwarding and logistics and manufacturing sectors, with my latest role at DHL Global Forwarding in Auckland, New Zealand.
My highest qualification is a Bachelors degree in which I double majored in Management and International business with additional qualifications in management and corporate leadership.
I have a wide variety of experience across these industry sectors and would like to express my interest in the advertised airfreight forwarding position as well as positions within the above industry sectors.
I have experience in the FMCG as well as manufacturing industries along with valuable experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry which i am passionate about.
I have sound operational knowledge in both airfreight and sea freight imports as well as domestic transport and fleet controlling experience. I have knowledge in export and import quoting as well as shipment route planning and customer relations. I have a strong understanding of 3PL and and project planning in regards to shipment delivery on a continuous basis. I also have had strong exposure in warehouse management systems / ERPs as well in inventory control and stock management.
My most recent position before returning to Cape Town has been as a Freight Forwarding Specialist at DHL Global Forwarding, in Auckland New Zealand.
I have completed high school abroad in New Zealand after which i attained my Bachelors Degree (NQF7) in New Zealand double majoring in Management, specifically operations and supply chain management as well as international business.
