As a short introduction, I have strong Plant/Factory experience in cost and management accounting.

At my previous employer I worked as a Plant Controller for over 7 years. I was retrenched in 2020 due to a plant closure.

I have completed my CIMA CERT BA and I am in my final year Bachelor of accounting sciences.

Apart from my duties in cost accounting, my role focuses deeply on WIP, FG and stock reporting and complex materials balancing. I have a strong operations background and enjoy working with technology and getting the most out of ERP systems. I am proficient in systems implementation and financial systems administration.

I provided financial support to operations/manufacturing departments from cost analysis, tracking actual to budgets, recommending ways to reduce costs and curb abnormal wastage, budgets and forecasts, review-manufacturing processes, and its controls.

I am also a 5-year safety officer (SHEQ)

Currently, I’m working in the FMCG sector for a multinational company.

• VOH & Indirect Overhead variances Act vs Budget (provide variance analysis) 
• Supervise AP Team (manage aging, escalations and staff supervision)
