- Observe and report changes in a patient's neurological status.
- Report any sudden deterioration to the registered nurse or doctor immediately.
- Assist with wound care and monitor surgical wounds for signs of infection or bleeding.
- Administer medications within the enrolled nurse scope of practice and according to facility policies.
- Maintain infection prevention and control practices, including proper hand hygiene and hand use of personal protective equipment's (PPE)
- Ensure patient safety by preventing falls and maintaining a safe environment.
- Document nursing care accurately and promptly.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Educate patients and families on basic postoperative care and discharge instructions.
