I am a PC enthusiast with a background in the electrical trade. After starting at Adson as a data capturer, I moved into online training administration due to my eagerness to learn and help where needed. Following a company restructuring, I took on the role of internal IT admin, providing daily technical support and assisting with network infrastructure and server management. Currently studying
CompTIA A+ through Udemy, I plan to continue with CompTIA
Network+ to strengthen my networking skills.
I began my career in the electrical sector, where I completed an intensive apprenticeship and received my Red Seal certification. Afterward, I assumed a position as Electrical Site Manager, where I applied my knowledge to the development of low-cost housing.
In search of new opportunities, I shifted to the training industry, taking on a variety of roles. These included data capture, training administration, and IT administration, which demonstrated my ability to work in many different areas of business operations.
My most recent role was as a Functional Consultant with an IT development company. In this position, I provided valuable advice and solutions to help bridge the gap between technology and business objectives.
This journey has given me a diverse set of skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for solving problems. I am confident that I can be an asset to any organization.
I hold a Matriculation certificate (Grade 12). Additionally, I have achieved an N3 qualification in Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, and Science, further strengthening my skills in the electrical field. On top of this, I have obtained a prestigious Red Seal certification in Electrical. I am also proactively working towards gaining more professional qualifications, such as CompTIA A+ and N+, in order to keep my skills current and up-to-date with the latest advancements in the IT industry.
