Originally, I was an IT Technician that took the direction of Health Information Systems. Aside from my experience on monitoring and evaluation I’m a TIER.Net troubleshooting expert as I’m still assisting Region B, D and C CoJ IT personnel with challenges they escalate regarding the system whether telephonically or physically visiting the facility.
My strongest attribute is Capacity Building. Working for more than 7 years at sub-district and facility level as a partner that provides technical assistance, it is evident that sustainability is the most important aspect of all programs. I have a lot of training experience from a young age, in Capricorn District I was part of the team that introduced the TB Module on TIER.Net and currently I train nurses doing NIMART on clinical stationery and TIER.Net from Region D Omnipark.
My skills will aid subordinates to carry out tasks effectively without constant supervision and fortunately my warm personality accommodates people of all different ages.
I really excel in assisting with facility level QIPs in 2019 as I was part of the initial Operation Phuthuma team in 2019, where I even received a Stakeholders Choice Award where the Department of Health appreciates a partner that has brought fruitful results to a program.
I have a good relationship with the current Sub-district and District members from DOH which really assists when trying to triangulate intervention measures.
I’m a friendly person who knows how to work with the most difficult people without losing my composure, because when one is calm that’s when they think clearly.
I assure you that I’m well-disciplined and have outmost respect for employers (refer to references). I’m seeking a path which will broaden my knowledge not only as a certified computer technician, but as an M&E advisor who creates an effective work environment, and IHPS looks like a place where that will happen.
