Mnqobi Mbhele

I am an AFDA alumn, who majored in TV Studio Tech and TV Post Production. I completed a one year internship at Impucuzeko Training and Skills, where I worked as a videographer, photographe, video editor and assistant facilitator for their level 5, learnership, post production classes. I directed and edited my first feature films, under Umqhele Film, called “The Vision“.

This film was nominated for Best Original Music at the 9th annual African Emerging Filmmaker Awards. I worked as a camera operator for SuperSport School sports tournament, including the Telkom Netball League. I am a hardworking, multi-skilled, punctual and passionate creative, who is willing to work.

If granted the opportunity to work outside of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, I am more than willing to relocate. Thank you.

I stud at AFDA Durban and majored in TV Studio Tech and TV Post Production. At AFDA, I learnt how to operate a camera, edit productions, record sound, gaffer work and direct film and television productions. I graduated on the 13th of March 2020 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Motion Picture Medium.
