• Assisted in the installation of a grid-tied solar PV system for the City Lodge hotel group in Summerstrand, working under the supervision of an engineer.
• Installed solar panels and carried out DC string wiring and cable routing. This involved understanding PV system schematics which identify the module layout, string configurations, and the correct routing of strings to specific inverters and their associated MPPT channels.
• Conducted continuity tests with a multimeter to identify wiring faults and verify inverter connections.
• Monitored PV system performance using inverter software by comparing actual vs expected power output to validate system operation and efficiency.

This is an engineering shop that specialises in machining and fabrication of custom components and equipment for their clients.

• Assisted in the fabrication, preparation, and coating of plating frames used for chrome-plating shock absorber rods by Tenneco. Tasks included masking, oven-based heating with PID temperature control, painting, and post-processing (grinding, drilling, and finishing).
• Operated CNC machines to manufacture PVC and brass components, including setup, workholding, and post-processing (deburring and finishing).
• Assisted in jig-based fabrication processes, ensuring proper alignment, clamping, and consistency during multi-step manufacturing operations.
• Applied workshop safety practices and supported basic inventory and material handling processes.
