In 15 years of professional experience, I have developed the ability to: improvise, think on my feet, make good decisions and follow through, work in a team as well as lead a team. I have worked under intense pressure in fast paced environments and am driven by results and quality. I have strong writing and editing skills and a good understanding of effective design and layout.

In 2018 I started working independently as a freelance consultant providing communication services to development organisations, design agencies, corporate foundations and small businesses.

I started my career in PR and later moved into communications, fundraising and stakeholder management for NGOs. I honed into communications, where I was responsible for the development and implementation of communications and fundraising strategies, running awareness and fundraising campaigns, creating marketing collateral and I developed strong skills and expertise in copywriting and editing. I have managed book productions, video productions, website builds and social media campaigns.

I have managed volutneer programmes and stakeholder engagement strategies.

In 2018 I started working independently as a freelance consultant providing communication services to development organisations, design agencies, corporate foundations and small businesses. I focus on content development, copywriting, editing and proofreading as my core services.

I have a bachelors degree in Journalism. I specialised in photojournalism. I have done multiple courses throughout my career in editing, corporate writing, SEO writing, etc.
