I'm a highly driven analyst seeking a full-time position. My degree in BCom Statistics provided me with the foundation to analyse statistical data and economic policies with precision and focus. The following are some highlights of my qualifications and skills; consulted on statistical methods relating to clinical trials, excellent SQL, SAS and R programming and excellent Excel skills, experience in the preparation of statistical documentation, stand-alone statistical reports and policy recommendations, excellent oral and written communication skills, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
I’m currently working for Safair in the Revenue and Yield department as a Junior Revenue Analyst. My responsibilities include data interpretation, helping maximize revenue and bringing to attention any issues regarding accounting, business procedures or finances. Identify and recommend operational and invoicing process improvements, so as to ensure completeness of all revenue streams.
I’m also involved in pricing of flights for specific routes to maximise the revenue and sales. My time as a Junior Analyst has enabled me to grow and cultivate essential skills such as interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently, an analytical thought process and an ability to manage my time effectively. These attributes greatly enhance my suitability for any company.
I have developed an ‘I can’ attitude, which manifests itself through proactivity, speedily and accurately resolving queries. I’m also performance driven and passionate about my work. I am passionate about using numbers and data to solve real-world problems, and would love to be able to do that as part of my everyday job.
