I am a seasoned attorney who has worked for various organizations as a Corporate Legal Adviser in a period spanning more than 18 years. My experience includes drafting as well as vetting various contracts, policy development, drafting and vetting, litigation management, heading and managing the legal services department, labour relations management and resolving labour related disputes, legal advisory services and opinion drafting, chairing disciplinary hearings, appearance at the CCMA and bargaining councils, budget management, strategic management and training of different levels of employees, compliance and risk management.
Since January 2021 I have been working as a Legal Consultant who gets contracted by different clients for different matters, the recent was a law firm called Jeffrey Mashele and Associates which contracted me to chair mass disciplinary hearings at Gold One Mine, Springs. Before that I was contracted by UNISA in its Legal Services Department and was also contracted by the Community Schemes Ombud Service as an Adjudicator. I am also contracted by the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal as an alternate member.
From Jan 2011- December 2020 I was a Director and Head of the Legal Services Department at the Vaal University of Technology. Prior to that I was a Deputy Director and Legal Adviser at the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
